Michele Monte, a graduate of Southampton College and all star athlete, is a young, ambitious and highly entertaining singer/ songwriter. A self-propelled rising star, Michele traces her musical origins back to Sachem High School in Lake Ronkonkoma, NY. She has independently written, financed, recorded and marketed two CD's. Her first CD "Whole Latté Luv" is a live recording of Michele's performances at coffee shops where she first started playing. Michele Monte's new CD "Girl Sweat" is a recording of her catchy pop numbers, which include some top musicians such as Steve Hasss, Jeff Ganz, The Rocket, Frank Bellucci, Tom Griffith, Jamie Yarsky and Martha Trachtenberg. It is testament to her talent and enthusiasm that the sales of those two CD's have numbered in the thousands. Recently, The Long Island Music Scene chose her track "Bodies On The Line" as hit of the week and Michele was also voted Queen Of The Long Island Music Scene.
