Details:
"Shout It From The Highest Hill," includes two original Lawson numbers, plus gospel tracks from Nuval Jackson, Joe Jackson, Dixie & Tom T. Hall, Ralph Stanley, and others. This CD marks the return of the Lawsons to the bluegrass gospel music playground since the early 1980's. With band
members Paul Smith, Mike Jackson, Joe Jackson, and Randy Stiltner, and additional significant vocal contributions by many of their close friends, including Ralph Stanley, David Parmley, Dale Perry, Larry Cordle, Charlie Sizemore, and Marty Rabon. Recorded at the well known Maggard Sound studios in Big Stone Gap, VA by Jim Price and Alan Maggard.

Kellard and Melva's rich and heartfelt harmonies reveal many years of singing together as only brothers and sisters can develop together being brought up in a singing family. The Lawsons have historically performed at many venues, from Bean Blossom to Rupp Arena, hosted their own festival in Paintsville, KY at Doc Turners Farm, and shared stages with Bill Monroe, Loretta Lynn, Lester Flatt, Ralph Stanley, Jimmie Skinner, Doc Watson, and many others.
