I was 10 when I stepped forward to the Lord.
My testimony is nothing flashy or exciting to most, but I know, looking
back, without a doubt that God has been right there every step of the way,
even when I strayed.
There were times I thought the only answer for me was to die. And I
would cry out to God for it to be over. He carried me through the loss of my
Daddy, when I thought no one would ever love me so much again. He
carried me through an abusive marriage, when I thought the only answer to
make it stop was my death. And he protected me when things got very
dangerous.
He brought a wonderful and loving man into mine and my childrenâs lives.
And He called me back into His service with a desire to share the Gospel
in song.
I love the Lord my God with all my heart, with all my soul, with all my
mind, and with all my strength. And I have a feeling of urgency, for
others to find Jesus and be filled with the joy only He can give. Even when
things donât always go the way I think they should, in prayer, I am reassured
that He is in control.
