Jackie Micieli is a songwriter from Long Island, NY. In the spring of 2003 Jackie released her first full length CD project, "EYE TO EYE"! In the Spring of 2003, Jackie was awarded the "Rosa Parks Scholarship" for the submission of her song "Hey Dad," where she also received the honorary Michael A. Garcia Award. A graduate from the State University of New York at Fredonia, Jackie continues her studies of feminist musicology as a graduate student at the State University of New York at Buffalo and Syracuse University. Jackie aspires to teach at the college level as well as continue writing for future CD projects.
