Details:
Tiger Rag! An album of Jazz Banjo by Sean Moyses.

A showpiece album displaying the four string Plectrum Banjo and Sean Moyses at his best. Sean is accompanied by Thomas Jähn (Drums) and Bernd Kröger (Double bass and Sousaphone) on this happy album of scintilating, toe-tapping, straight ahead jazz banjo. He sings, strums and brings to the play-list first class renditions with his banjo, guitar and ukulele virtuosity, breezing through hot jazz and tunes of the Vaudeville era.
In the days before Bluegrass and Earl Scruggs, American Vaudeville star Eddie Peabody was "King of the Banjo" and this album is one Eddie would have approved of. Good rhythmic banjo playing with style, technique, taste and musicality.
If you have not heard the banjo played like this before I recommend you give this one a try.
