Details:
"Music has been a hidden window to my soul and my connection to spirit that my analytical upbringing could not accomplish," says keyboardist Miles Eddy. "The hypnotic sound-scapes of early electronic music connected me to a part of my subconscious that I would not otherwise have been aware of".

Miles style is now reaching out to others. His music has a wholesome, easy listening feel that promotes calmness while still engaging the listener. "I was totally unprepared once I turned off my intellect and tapped into that creative space. It was like gazing into a quite fire while my hands messaged the keyboard. It wasn't composing, more like channeling from a place beyond my awareness."

In 1983 after graduating from Colorado State University, Miles compiled a compilation of his first three years of multi track improvisations onto two cassettes called "Miles High" and "Miles from Nowhere". Having been strongly influenced by early electronic musicians such as Jean Michel Jarre and Tomita, his first album had flowing tonalities, harmonics, and overtones in an arrhythmic style classic to early synthesized "space music". Though some of his music now uses pop beats and harmonies, the New Age sound of his beginnings is still present.

Between 1986 and 2000, Miles did not pursue a career in music, instead becoming a professional juggler and a computer programmer. "I realize now that my first passion was music and that I will never be truly happy without pursuing this path." In 2000, equipped with a modern computer, up-to-date software, and a small straw-bale studio in southern Colorado powered by solar panels and a wind generate, he reassembled his old equipment, dusted off his four-track tapes, and digitally re-mastered his earlier works. Taking the best from the previous tapes, he created the CD "Milestone" as a representation of his early musical inspirations of 20 years ago.

In 2002, Miles returned to composing by talking several unfinished musical ideas from his past and adding complex harmonies and textures to create his latest release The Wizards Fool. "Some cuts where single track pieces that I wanted to expand and some were old original piano ditties that I wanted to make into new compositions". The one entirely new composition in 2002, Shahairizon, is an ethereal blend of rhymes and vocalizations. "Shahairizon is the first piece that I use my voice, not for words, but to create the kind of angelic choir sound that has always stirred my emotions." The Wizards Fool combines an eclectic blend of New Age, mellow techno, and classical, reminiscent of Mannheim Steamroller's Fresh Aire and the instrumental story telling of David Arkenstone.

He is now creating a theatrical presentation, incorporating his music, and inspired by an original story he developed during his 13 years with Renaissance festivals as a "Juggling Jester". "Since college I have always wanted to create a multi-media show with music, juggling, rope walking, lasers, special effects and story telling with a social, political, and environmental theme."
