Milinda is an emerging songwriter.While building a career writing songs for other artists and working as a backing singer ,the idea to issue this collection of original song demos was an unexpected but welcome accident.
Because these songs were put together free of the constraints usually put on an artist 'to fit into' a specific category the songs are from a wide range of styles.
The co-writes here,with Irish composer Denis Carey('The Final Farewell' and 'Forever') reflect the writer's Irish background but then these live happily with their melodic r'n'b tinged ballad neighbours such as 'Not An Easy Time' and these in turn don't upset the moodier indie style 'The Letter' and 'Bitter Sweet Blessing'.
"The Letter" topped the Broadjam TOP 10 Contemporary Folk Chart and was in their TOP 10 for overall Folk and also the European artist categories.
