After a 7 year stint with the avent Pittsburgh based Godshead, and a two semester stay at the Art Institute of Seattle. Bill Beckman has released his first album under the name iammindbender. Electronic Mind Blotter is not the first of projects done by Bill, but part of an on going evolution that has made him the artist he is today, and will be in the future. "Music is the fuel that feeds my soul, the ever changing, shapeless quality of music is the precise beauty of it". My intention of this project is a broadening of my horizons, and a celebration of music. "Beckman has forged ambient, hypnotic soundscapes, with appropriate titles such as Moon Base Dance Party, and Acid House"(Sott Tady the times online).
