Where most sad albums deal with lost loves, this one deals with loves that never happened. Regret and longing permeate through every track. These first-person tracks are sung from the safety and protection of a fort made out of blankets in a small apartment where the singer looks back at what went wrong, what never happened, what should have happened and what might have happened.
How can the saddest album ever recorded also be wildly funny? Well, in the world of Moes Haven, the line between heartache and humor does not exist. Everything that is sad is also funny. No one can dwell in this kind of overwhelming sadness without realizing how ridiculous it really is. Or, at least Moes Haven can't do that. And so they've combined sorrow and longing with their own unique brand of nihilistic humor.
