Mockingblue is 4 piece experimental folk outfit based in Madison Wisconsin. We are Eric Smentowski on Cello, Bill Zanski on drums and percussion, Jordan Koel on mandolin, and Mike Pietrus on guitars and vocals. Our music includes everything from African polyrhythms to evocative instrumental exploration in the style of the Grateful Dead and Dave Grisman. All brought together with a lyrical style rooted in the folk and pop sensibilities.
