Details:
Amin Safari was born in Tehran, Iran, and grew up in Sweden, where he started playing the guitar. He obtained his masterâs degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Umea as well as a degree in classical music from the Folk University of Sweden. Aminâs enthusiasm to compose and perform music led him to form two hard rock bands in Sweden; the â Seventh Signâ, and the âSkeleton Crewâ, as well as an iranian band called â Atashâ. The Skeleton Crew released their first album âMummifiedâ in 1997.
Amin became increasingly fascinated by the flamenco music style after he moved to the US, and has composed and performed with local artists in Houston in many different venues.
