Born and raised in suburban Chicago, Bryant moved to Southern California to attend the Theater Arts program at UCLA. Following graduation, she became a company member with the highly respected Actors' Gang, where, for over seven years she worked with a who's-who of talented young actors and performed in several highly-acclaimed productions.

While she always enjoyed singing, Bryant didn't begin writing songs until 2000, when she picked up an old acoustic guitar she'd purchased for $15 at a flea market and began strumming. And singing. And writing. She began captivating audiences almost immediately, and in the short amount of time since she first performed live, she has earned the praise of fans and the respect of her songwriting peers.
