Put on your skanking shoes, The Palookas are here!! The Palookas exist since 2001 and played lots of shows in- and outside the Netherlands since then. They played twice at the Dutch Ska Festival (number one ska festival in The Netherlands) and shared the stage with lots of bands like The Toasters, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, Mad Caddies, Mark Foggoâs Skasters and The Selecter.

Theyâve recorded their third CD (Live!) on January 19th, 2007. The first two CDâs were received very well by the Dutch audience and press and got them lots of shows!

Nowadays The Palookas are a well organised, dedicated and experienced band! They are ready to make Europe dance! Besides the many gigs in The Netherlands, The Palookas will be touring through Europe in the spring of 2007 in their East Europe Tour and will have several short trips to Belgium and Germany!

This record is upbeat from beginning to end, even when they break off an instrumental piece, it is still rocking! Full horns and keyboard make this a thick album, some of the best live recordings I've ever heard, there's many times when I forget it's live!
