Mohammadreza Saeedzadeh, (Moreza), was born in 1986 in Tehran, Iran. Amidst the despair of a changing society, Moreza found sanctuary through his growing passion for music. At an early age, he gained inspiration in the rising genre of Iranian pop music, which was evolving in resonance with the unheard voices of a rapidly growing youth culture. As he matured, the guitar became not only his instrument of choice, but also the gateway to his inner world. At age 16, Moreza moved to Vancouver Canada, where his reflections were manifested in the creation of this soulful and transcendental album.
His music speaks without lyrics, empowering the mind to escape to a place far away, yet remain, near to the heart. Tracks like Morezian Flamenco and Oceano Bailando best reveal his technique and compositional style, based on a rich fusion of Nuevo Flamenco roots with underscores of Middle Eastern melodies.
