Imagine the B-52's cross-breeding (as if they could) with George Carlin and Dan Hicks and you're kinda (but not really) tuning onto their whimsical wavelength.
Here the trio bemoans the burdens of Stuff, gets sucked into the mindless vortex of cable TV with Linda's Red Button and makes the best of their poverty situation by gobbling more Beans (What a gas!) They lead us down a path and then veer off in an unexpected direction, kicking off the Adam and Eve saga of garden of Sin with a vamp from Midnight Hour, burning up the sheets with the surprisingly sexy Liquid Sunburn or going through some spacey changes on One More Time. The latter is a subtly critical song about dabbling with heroin that practically gets you high. Best of a terrific lot: the dreamy, drift away imagery of Bath.
