On the eve of the release of Dumb Angel's new album, I Woke Up This Morning, Somnambulist Sound System is pleased to announce the re-issue of Dumb Angel's debut, 2006's Ghost Dance.â¨
Originally released and produced independently by Dumb Angelâs Shaun Mason, Ghost Dance exceeded all expectations by the artist in garnering glowing reviews, receiving a great deal of international attention and charting extensively on Canadian community radio.â¨â¨
Recorded slowly and meticulously by Mason over the course of one long Saskatchewan winter, and mixed by Mason and Carbon Dating Service's Steve Reed, Ghost Dance is a collection of 10 quiet, sprawling songs that explore the meaning of self in place in a strange and confusing world.
