Ziari Slav, musician, writer, healer, former journalist and publicist, born and based in Slovakia, has devoted his last 10 years to reviving Slovak music and culture. His work, lyrics, non fiction books and magazine articles, reflect his extensive knowledge of Slovak and Slavic history, culture, mythology and religions. He finds his inspiration in the nature.

The featured CD, "Bytosti Hore" (Beings Above) is his 5th self published album. He hand made and played majority of the instruments used on this recording. Ziari Slav usually records all instruments and vocals himself, however this CD features his students and fans for whom he created band "Bytosti" (Beings) who frequently travel Slovakia and occationally perform abroad, recently Wales, Austria and Czech Republic.
