Scutter's developed as a songwriter and musician in Nashville with the rigors of studio work and live performances -- playing in the touring midwestern bands Deep Fat, Big Jim, The Frontier, Barlights, and others. Scutter's steady live performance schedule keeps him busy around the Chicago area as well as his standing house gig at Jimmy Buffet's Cheeseburger in Paradise. Scutter's work on the America Song Sampler solo release took over a year -- all of the songs were recorded in his personal studio. Scutter handled all the songwriting, instruments, and production.
