Rich and I wrote this upbeat song in direct response to the distorted image of Alaska's Governor Sarah Palin being portrayed in the media. Our lyric extols the virtue and values of the Governor and the folks that support her throughout America.

The song briefly chronicles the life story of this remarkable woman and her fight to do what is right for the American people. From taking on the challenges in her home state of Alaska, to her prominence on the National stage, this song tells her real story.

We chose the refrain: "...from sea to shining sea," from "America the Beautiful," a poem written by Katherine Lee Bates in 1893 and set to a musical composition by Samuel A. Ward. In choosing this passage, we can bring the listener home to the place where the words: "We the people..." and our Nation were forged. It further reminds us that the character of individuals, like Governor Sarah Palin, is what makes America the place most everyone wants to be.

This song is our tribute to the Governor's authenticity and indomitable spirit, as well as a testament to her commitment to family, friends and all the good people she represents in the United States of America.

She truly is an "All American Woman!"
