Racingpaperplanes from Gothenburg, Sweden, is based around Richard Wilson and Glen Gilbert. We have a fantastic live band now too!

We have released three CD's on american indie label Tract records. "Morning Scars" 2002, "Self sleep service" 2004. and "Made of broken parts" in 2007.

In march of 2002 Richard did a club tour in the USA, opening for bands like Annika Bentley, Elephant Micah, Okkervil River and June Panic. We have also supported artists like Rosie Thomas, Jason Molina, Great lake swimmers, Kristofer Åström and more. It was swell!

Richard also recorded the song "Careless love" for the tribute to Will Oldham CD out on Tract records (w/ Mark Kozelek, Iron and Wine et al...) and the song "Happy Pig" for "That horse yonder - The songs of Sparklehorse".

In 2007 we toured Spain and Germany and played some shows in Sweden.
