"Mychal Kelly," legally known as Michael S. Kraemer Jr. was born in New Jersey on September 27th. He grew up in a multi-racial family; his mother emigrated from Trinidad (a Caribbean Island) and became an American citizen. His parents raised him and his two brothers in a high expectant, stern, and scholastically conscious environment. Conversely, loud Rock 'n' Roll music was always playing and singing/dancing was greatly encouraged.

Mychal started playing music at a young age, which is well expected when you're constantly surrounded by music. He learned by listening, watching, and asking a lot of questions. He started piano at age 5, drums/percussion at age 10, guitar at age 12, bass at age 13, harmonica at age 14, and he's been singing and dancing all of his life. Besides music, he is best known for his skills in mathematics and cooking. His other creative hobbies include painting, drawing, and writing stories.

Mychal has been writing, arranging, composing, and producing his own music since he was 15. He also writes, directs, and produces his own music videos and films. In 2003 he released "Mychal Kelly: The Jersey Devil", and his first feature film - "Déjà Vu Part 1: The Jersey Devil & Jasmine" on DVD. Over the years, Mychal has performed all over the NY/NJ metro area at fundraisers/benefits, niteclubs, sports venues, and outdoor events such as:

Obsessions, Club Bené, The Birch Hill, Crane Park Benefit Concert for The Bridge Inc. "Youth/Family Development", Music Marathon Fundraisers, Battle of the Bands Fundraisers, Independence Day Celebration at Bonnel Field, the Caldwell Street Fair, The Passaic County Fair, 2004 Independence Day Celebration at GIANTS STADIUM, and the "Bud" Showcase at the Osprey Nightclub.

Mychal has also performed private showcases for music industry executives & affiliates including Mammoth Records (a Major label) and Radio Disney 1560 AM. Radio Disney has sponsored Mychal to perform at several events such as: The Newark Bears Stadium, The Meadowlands Fair at GIANTS STADIUM (co-sponsored by PEPSI), and Jenkinson's Boardwalk at Point Pleasant, NJ.
