This album begins with the super smooth voice of Buddy Sims and his song, "The Phone Call." Mr Sims is a working professional singer and musician as is the fabulous Kitty Houston whose fantastic voice is showcased on Track two with a beautiful song she wrote called "Without Your Love."
Up next is Roger Eydenburg with a Juanita Ford and Judith Greer Edwards tune, "If I Never See You Again." These ladies are a couple of veteran songwriters and they know how to craft a song. And.......speaking of songwriters, Track four, five, and six are occupied by Mr. Alan Ross Haynes who belongs in the same class of songwriters with the likes of John Prine and James Taylor.
On track 7 is a young, up and coming artist with a song he wrote for the ladies called, "A Boy Loves You." This young man has potential so check this track out for sure.
Ah...Ortansia. What can I say. A new exciting dimension in smooth vocal jazz. Ortansia is creating a whole new genre of music with her beautiful voice and incredible songwriting talents. Three tracks of the most enchanting music you will ever hear.
And how about Mark Ward, a new RoadShow Records artist. Mark Ward hails from the area in England where the British comedy, "Last of the Summer Wine" is filmed. This is "electronica" or "Road Music" as I call it; inspired by the beautiful countryside of Yorkshire, England. Mark has two beautiful tracks on this album that you are going to love!
Introducing Rory Ruff, a brand new addition to the RoadShow Records roster of artists. Rory Ruff is an artist who has written songs in a variety of genres. The thing I like about this guy, other than his music, is his obvious dedication to his craft. In other words, he ain't quittin' and we like that attitude at RoadShow Records.
The last two tracks are a couple of songs I recorded about 5 years ago. Hope you enjoy them and all the other great artists who have joined me on this album.
