Raised on the south side of Chicago, m.e.e.k. (mind elevation, elements, knowledge) was constantly being exposed to eclectic blends of the old and new. Break dancing after school and working on her beat box as a child, turned into free styling in underground open mics and ciphers, to Disk jockeying for two ( hiphop/ top 40 urban) radio shows her freshman year of college before she first picked up the mic. m.e.e.k.mzteek never looked back.
