Nile River came in the physical world June 19th, 1980 with a purpose. Throughout the trails and tribulations of his life, he discovered that his destiny is to change lives through his music. Music is a gift from the heavens and has the ability to touch the depths of our hearts. It transcends race, economic level, gender, age, or creed. Nile's passion for music started at the tender age of three. Inspired by his father who played the piano to him as a child, he cultivated his love by spending hours listening to his parents album collection. In school Nile tried to take lesson for the piano, flute, and guitar but never stuck to any instrument. He was drawn to a growing form of music known as hip-hop and began rapping at age 10. At 14, he joined and recorded with a local group from Moreno Valley called Homeless Nation. Nile River gained notoriety and was featured on their underground albums Up for Adoption, Da Soundtrack, Bum Endeavors, and Lunch "Tha Leftovers". Through the group, Nile has gained experience in performing in front of crowds, recording in professional studios, Shooting for videos or T.V. interviews and more. He has met just about everyone of his musical influences including Snoop, Andre 3000, Nas his biggest inspiration Michael Jackson. Now at a young 27 years of age, Nile has the experience and confidence to step out on his own and approach the world with Life Music, a blend of hip hop & soul music. Nile River is not just a rapper, he is a growing artist with the gift to write, produce, rap, sing, and groove with the beat. He has a captivating stage presence but keeps a humble perspective. His music deals with the real life issues as a youth in a changing world. He is willing to do whatever it takes to get his music to the masses and is not waiting for a record deal. He plans to keep recording music to develop his sound and do as many shows as he can. Nile River is the next generation for hip hop music. He doesnt just want to make music for the hood or the nation, he want to impact the world with his sound. In 2007, he worked with the group Familiars Unseen on the "Grown and Fresh" album which was released in Japan and is still moving units! Finally, he arrives with his 1st Solo project "Issue of Life" which features the hits "Surreal" featuring Disco and "Playa" produced and featuring Boho Fau, and in remembrance of J-Dilla.
