Hardwire formed in late 1999 by Mike Marsh and Ryan Hutman. Hardwire have created and refined a unique sound heavily influenced by and similar to KMFDM, Rammstein, Die Krupps, and Fear Factory. They have played venues throughout the Phoenix underground and other cities with such acts as VNV Nation, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, Slick Idiot, Imperative Reaction, Ikonoklast, Everything Goes Cold, Hanzel und Gretyl, Otto's Daughter, Alter Der Ruine, Eroticide, and The Strand. They have also provided live music for "Botbash", (A robotic fighting tournament that took place in Tempe, AZ. and in Del Mar, CA.) The band also scored the music for the motion pictures, "The Great American Snuff Film" and "Death of a Ghost Hunter". Two final members make up the full lineup of the band: Xiån Austin formerly of Alter Der Ruine on Drums and Synths, and Jonah Foree of Ikonoklast on Guitar. Hardwire signed to Glow:Room Records in 2008.
