Forming early 2008 in Los Angeles, CA, this trio started out as a duo consisting of Michael, the founding member on vocals/guitar and Dee on drums. They also recorded their first EP "HiFi Generation" at West Beach recorders in Hollywood with Michael playing bass, lead, and rhythm guitar. While auditioning bass players, they picked up Rob, who worked at the studio they rehearsed at in North Hollywood.
The band started when Michael(Dear John Letter, Saltine Junkie) did a 6 song demo that he recorded at his house and put them up on myspace under the name Jerseys Quarter. He put out a few ads online to look for musicians finding Colin(Weed, Cooker), who was starting a project up with a drummer by the name of Dee(Black List Union). Later, Colin decided to leave the band urging Michael and Dee to start their own project. After a few months, they recorded their first record at West Beach recorders with Ian Peterson and later was released on FireBrand Records, which is Michael's label. This band is known for their high energy shows, poppy gritty vocals, and their headphone guy logo which is on everything they put out.
