Details:
Odd Austin is a parody artist, who writes and records obviously, parody music, his songs might also be described as dementia or comedy, but Iâm sure you already knew that, aside from writing music Austin enjoys watching TV, obsessively checking his email to see what updates might have come in the last two minutes, and talking in the third person.

He got started in the early 2000s, he was sitting in class probably gluing together some pointless arts and craft assignment in fourth grade and his friend Matt was singing this song, a curious Austin said, âWhat are you singing you freak!â. Then he responded âYoda, by Weird Alâ. That day Odd Austin was born. After that he wrote down lyrics in a book bought for him previously, he filled the journal with lyrics of any thing that randomly came into his head. I think there was even a song about seat belts in there. We would advise you not to look further into this lyric book that marks the origins of his music, most of the lyrics in there would most likely be classified as âAwfulâ, there is really no point in emailing to ask if you could get some of the lyrics from it, unless you would like to gouge your eyes out after approximately two seconds of reading. Um⦠where was I⦠oh right!

In mid-2005 Austin tried to record some of these songs in the most pathetic way possible, a tape recorder! Obviously these songs sounded terrible, but once he heard that his uncle Travis had a recording system on his computer called Magix, in late 2005 Austin had his first demo album, a small ten track CD with parodies of Green Day and other related punk artists. The following year he released five more demo albums thus creating a small fan base via MySpace and other internet sites.

Since then Austin has been played on The Dr. Demento Show, The Mad Music Dementia Top 20 (With 6 songs hitting number 1 to date), The Mad Music Show, and Kahn Man's Comedy Corner to name a few. His music has been described as hilarious and clever by many and a few have even called some of his songs the funniest recording theyâve ever heard.

In 2008 Austin began recording this album which he had been working on for nearly six years. Previously he had recorded the six demo albums mentioned above with a total of 66 songs, for his first full length studio release he took the six best parodies and the six best original songs and put together this hour long comedic adventure known as Wrong Side of the Bed. At the extremely young age of 16, Austin is quite possibly the youngest comedian in the parody music industry today, and is opening doors to a promising future in dementia music.

ADDITIONAL ALBUM NOTES: This album features songs about the Atari 2600 system, Tom Anderson of MySpace, the elderly, a hit Fox sitcom, roach infestations, vacations to Zombie Island, the Caped Crusader himself: Batman, and several more hilarious topics. The CD contains parodies of Buckcherry, Nelly Furtado, Akon, My Chemical Romance and more! Wrong Side of the Bed also has guest appearances from Dino-Mike (www.dino-mike.com) and Digital Laughter (www.myspace.com/digitallaughter). Produced by Austin Aeschliman and engineered by Ted Wilson.

Still think Austin's a nerd demon from the planet, Berkabrakk 9? Well, here's what other great comedy people are saying about him:

"Odd Austin is a young and impressive talent. He's got the tools to make you laugh and knows how to use them."
-Digital Laughter

âOdd Austin's music is recommended by 9 out of 10 psychologists he sees.â
-Matt Hodgson

âOne of those people I really admire quite a bit, heâs only fifteen years old and yet heâs got so many songs out, it just makes your head spinâ and "He's the new Weird Al".
-Captain Wayne

"With acts like you (age 15), Nuclear Bubble Wrap (age 18), and Soggy Potato Chips (age 18), I think it's safe to say that the future of dementia is in very capable hands! Rock on, dude!"
-DJ Particle

"Truly one of the better song writers out there keep up the GREAT work!"
-Reverend Zach

"'Old People' has some funny lines. A bit insensitive, for sure, but that helps make it funny."
-Dr. Demento

"Enjoyed the Old People song! The Atari song made me nostalgic for those old video games. I never could master Asteroids but it's not hard to find a Galaga game still operational in a pizza place or arcade. Cool to have something to play that doesn't involve shooting people's guts out. (Of course I do like DDR but that's another story). Your production is great too.
-Carla Ulbrich

"Odd Austin's music grabs you firmly by the cahonez and vigorously shakes them until all that remains are the foundation of what can only be described as 'nutty'"
-Dino-Mike

"Odd Austin reminds me a lot of myself when I was his age. The parodies, the writing, the dedication, and of course...the large hair."
-Insane Ian

âOdd Austin is a person with a face. There is a hole in his face which makes noise. He uses this hole to make silly words about silly things. He also has fingers, which he puts on a computer to make music that sounds like popular songs that the young people enjoy. When he puts the noises from his face with the noises from his fingers, he makes the combination of noises that you can hear on this CD. You should totally buy one. Or seven, if you're his Mom."
