PROFITS FROM SALES OF THIS ALBUM GO TO HURRICANE RELIEF
NOTE (Aug. 30, 2005): I normally donate all profits from sales of this CD to RAINN, the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network (rainn.org). However, right now there is a cause I feel is more in need of financial help.
The devastation from Hurricane Katrina is overwhelming in New Orleans and other areas along the Gulf Coast. Being a native of south Louisiana, this really hits home for me. Fortunately, my family, who still lives there, is OK. But many others have lost loved ones, homes, businesses, possessions. And I want to help these people.
So until further notice, I will be donating 100 percent of the profits from sales of "Shooting the Decoy" (that includes CD sales through this site as well as digital downloads of my songs through iTunes and other digital music retailers) to the Red Cross hurricane relief fund.
Most likely, I'll eventually go back to donating profits to RAINN, but for now, I want to do what I can for those left in need because of Hurricane Katrina.

BIOGRAPHY
In 2002, Nathan Stack released his debut independent CD, "Shooting the Decoy." Nathan wrote and recorded all of the songs on "Shooting the Decoy" using home studio equipment.
On a musical level, "Shooting the Decoy" is an album of eclectic styles within the realm of rock/pop, blending hard rock, electronic and experimental music. On a lyrical level, the album is a melding of emotion and intellect.
