Details:
Orphidice was conceived when I was only a mere thirteen years old. When guitar lessons and cover songs lost their appeal, I turned to writing music on my guitar to see what I could create. Granted, it was many years and even more small peices to be written and scrapped before songs that I could be proud of began to take shape. It was also around this time that I discovered a great abundance of new music that took hold of me and never let go.

The discovery of progressive and ambient music steered me towards what became my debut; 'Love Is Alive'. Inspired greatly by the likes of Brian Eno, David Sylvian, and Steven Wilson, this album was much more ambient than I anticipated. This left quite a few songs that remained unfinished while I began to write and record the ambient pieces of 'Love Is Alive'.

After the release of 'Love Is Alive', I started to turn my attention back to the unfinished songs that I had left behind, expanding on those ideas and also creating new ones. What came about is my most recent release, 'Transit'. Combining elements of electronic, down-tempo, progressive rock, avant-garde and beautiful soundscapes. 'Transit' builds off of the melodic approach of 'Love Is Alive', and takes it to a completely new level.
