Farewell Adventure! is the debut album by singer/songwriter Matt Kollar. The songs were written over the last two years, recorded, produced and mixed in Matt's home studio over a period of six months by himself and a collection of talented friends.
The songs on the album range from simple and sweet ballads, to multilayered mini symphonies. Tales of the great open road, love, longing and a feeling of wanderlust in each song.
Dave Collins, former head of A&M Records mastering department, put the finishing touches on the album upon its completion. The stage is set and Matt and his band are ready to head out into the world to spread their music to anyone and everyone that will listen.



When chanteur Matt Kollar effected his exodus from the North, and reached his true habitat in the caves and hollows of America, and, righteously steeped in the traditions of that great land, found his true forte, the feeble fetus of Farewell Adventure was born. And, when he assembled his ragtag crew from the neglected backwaters and overlooked junctions of the nation -- Ryan MacLeod, from the obscure Scottish enclave of New York City, Tisha Boonyawatana, from the most clandestine of Thaitown's opium dens, Jason Kaiser, Mississippi river boat pirate, and Liliana Frandsen, a small time bandit, hiding out in sympathetic farmer's barns, crisscrossing the state of Oklahoma. And the newly created Angry Mob was subjected to a baptism by fire -- FAREWELL ADVENTURE!
