Nedra Johnson is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist born & living in New York City. Her live performance & debut release Testify received high praises from The Advocate, Village Voice, New York Blade, HX for Her, Lesbianation.com, Listen.com, Variety & The Hollywood Reporter.

Nedra has performed internationally at jazz, blues, pride & women's music festivals as a tuba player and vocalist with Howard Johnson & Gravity, as a solo artist accompanying herself on acoustic guitar and with a choice of her band set ups including the Fat Bottom Girls with its 5 piece tuba horn section. She has wowed audiences in places from Paris, Nimes, Berlin, Vienna, Macedonia, München, Leverkusen, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Detroit & New Orleans to the South Pacific island of New Caledonia.

Nedra's incorporation of the spiritual, emotional and political makes it difficult, for those inclined, to argue against the acceptance of lesbian and gay relationships as legitimate, loving and blessed.
