THE N.E.S IS TWO MC'S, NO MAD & ECID of substance abuse crew
no mad born Austin dooley and ecid born jason mckenzie both graduated highschool in 2001, shortly after ecid and another crew(mwc) put out a little "demo" after a few short comings ecid pretty much decide to go his seperate ways and start somthing new (substance abuse) and he immedetly thaught no mad
would be a perfect fit for substance abuse, at the time ecid was working on a solo project and no mad was, working...so the N.E.S. was kind of on the back burner and ecid's solo work wasn't exactly were he wanted it to be...so in fall of 02' ecid decided to go to school for music production and by april of 03' he had a fully operational studio setup, then in july 03' SECTOR 7-G joined "SA" so things were coming together and that same summer "SA" released the first "LEG BOOTS" cd, which is very significant because it has all the first N.E.S. tracks and ecid's very first beats...after that ecid released "1983"
to look warm reviews and immedietly after ecid finished production for the "SECTOR 7-G" record and then NO MAD & ECID were finally ready to work on the "NES" project which took about 6 months to fully complete.All beats by ecid all rhymes by no mad & ecid "THE ANARCHY SMILES" is the best "sa" release yet and arguablly one the best albums of 2004
