âSaws and Sledgehammersâ (2006)is Shannonâs third solo album (following 2002's "The Unusual Temple" and 2004's "Wake Me If The House Burns Down"). The albums thirteen tracks touch on every color of the sonic spectrum with a bedrock of drum tracks, an army of guitars, bass, keyboards, percussion and vocal harmonies. Aiding Shannon's multi-instrumentation and vocals are Kirk Rapport (Lead Guitar) on "Insurgency", "Beacon Of Day & Night", and "Monk's Scream"; Pete Russo (Drums & Percussion) on "Destroy Your Setlist"; and Mike Arafeh (Engineer & producer of the album) adding percussion on "Insurgency" and "Bandit".
