Nick Granato has a music style all his own. You can hear some musical influences, but his uniqueness is so obvious and his music is always original. Nick calls his music "Florida Style"; he says "it encapsulates a state of mind". Nick Granato and Florida are near synonymous these days, and his popularity is exploding.

Nick always knew that music would be his life's passion. At the ripe old age of 7, he started writing songs and learned to play the guitar. Over the years he has had over 250+ songs recorded, and some 35 charting singles, producing numerous awards, honors and nominations. His songs have been covered by some highly notable names in various music genres like Randy Travis, Jimmy Buffett, Pamela Stanley, Bette Midler, Stella Parton, Crystal Gayle, Eddie Rabbitt, Michael Grimm, Heirline, Juice Newton, Point Of Grace, Linda Lanier, Anne Murray Dinah & The Desert Crusaders, & Lonestar to name a few. He has also written some high profile national commercial jingles for organizations like; the United Way (both 2002 & 2003), Hospice International, the State Of Florida, Children's Outreach International, and the theme for the 2002 United States Olympic Female Volleyball Team (Give Me Wings).

As a vocalist, Nick has performed in many noted (and not so noted) venues; The Grand Ole Opry (Nashville TN) Playboy Club/Americana (Great Gorge NJ), Blue Bird Café (Nashville TN), Ryman Auditorium (Nashville TN), Walt Disney World (Orlando FL), Margaritaville (Key West, FL), Summer House (Ft Walton Beach FL), Hogsbreath (Emerald Coast FL), Bottomline (NY NY), Harbor Docks (Destin FL), Bay Winds Club (Nassau Bahamas), ElboRoom (Ft Lauderdale FL) Dollywood (Pigeon Forge TN), Fudpuckers (Ft Walton Beach FL) Seminole Casino (Coconut Creek, FL) and others. He spent a year performing and riding the sea on the Norwegian Dawn & the Norwegian Sun Cruise ships, his fan base grew quite large and became international. He has appeared as a professional background vocalist on many projects between 1982-1988. In 1989 Nick released an Inspirational CD on the Spiritwind Label; the CD produced 2 top 10 charting singles and several nominations.

As a business professional, Nick Granato sat as Director of Publishing for Chestnut Mound Music, one of the largest Christian music catalogs in the world. He also served as Vice-President/A&R Director of Gateway Entertainment & Director of Publishing at CAL IV Christian. In 1996, he established his own music publishing company, Song Harbor Music, to house his own catalog. After his departure from Cal IV Christian in 2000, he expanded Song Harbor into a full independent music publishing and record label. The first release on the Song Harbor label was the Nick Granato CD "Sun Dance". The CD hit all of the standard roadblocks independent music companies encounter, but through time and the internet, "Sun Dance" has acquired national critical acclaim, with excellent sales worldwide. Nick's next release "Plastic Pink Flamingos" is due out summer 2005.

Nick Granato calls south Florida home. 90 of the time you can find him playing somewhere on the coast. In 2004, Nick had the honor of being asked by Governor & Mrs. Jeb Bush of Florida to appear for a private function. Nick was voted one of the "top 5 local entertainers" in 2004 & 2005 by the readership of a major South Florida publication. His song "Florida's Son" has had massive digital downloads and topped more than a few internet charts, driving impressive CD sales.

The future looks exceptionally bright for Nick, Hollywood has called, and some of his music is being used in a new Paramount movie due out in mid-2006. 2 high profile record labels have put offers on the table, along with the possibility of a fully backed U.S and European tour. As Nick continues to gain international momentum as an entertainer, and success as a songwriter, he will bring his "Florida Style" roots with him in song wherever he goes, becoming "Florida's Ambassador of Song"... unofficially as of yet!
