This is the second CD I have recorded. It was recorded at Cove City Studios, owned by Ritchie Cannata. Billy Joel fans will immediately recognize Ritchie as Billy's amazing sax player. I had the unbelievable pleasure of playing on the most beautiful Yamaha grand piano, which was graced by the fingers of Billy Joel and Lionel Ritchie just to name a couple...
These songs are the product of the past four years. I have been writing however, for my whole life. I come from a musical and creative family. When I was ten, I asked my father who was a jazz percussionist, to teach me to play the drums. My grandmother suggested that I played something more lady-like...
My parents bought my first piano, and I studied for about a year until they divorced. That is probably when I really started to pour myself into my writing. It wasn't until about 1998 that I taught myself to play chords by ear. Once I did that my music grew at a phenomenal pace.
I began to figure out my songs one by one. Since then, I have almost filled what was a brand new book with what has become a journal of not only my own life, but my views on the world as well...
