Tim Nielsen is a singer/guitarist/songwriter. He is quite capable at all three of those duties. He is a veteran performer, and has released three very well received CD's entitled "Light Years", "109 East McKey St.", and "Brutha Niel." Known to other musicians as "Brutha Niel" Tim fronts a versatile group known as "Brutha Niel and the Real Deal."

Tim has played with several other groups that have showcased his original material, Southpaw, No Foolin, and Blues 4 Soul. In these groups he has shared the bill with such established performers as The Little River Band, The Steve Miller Band, Jimmy Buffet, Louisiana's LeRoux, 38 Special, Molly Hatchet, The Georgia Satellites, The Beach Boys, Jimmy Thackery and the Drivers and many others.

Tim is 52 years old. That's right!! He's no kid! But boy can he play, sing and write. He has a wealth of experience to draw from. Ronnie "Bird" Foster, long time drummer with Roy Buchanan and bandmate of Tim, refers to Tim Nielsen as "Orlando's Best Kept Secret."

Barry Dean, long time bass player from Brian Auger's Oblivion Express is a guest artist on this CD as well as Mike Galloway from the Midnight Creepers on harp.
