Tim Nielsen continues to write and perform songs that can easily fit into several genre. From story oriented songs to jazz to rockabilly. All seasoned by his outstanding guitar work and musicianship.
The lyrics on many songs have a spiritual theme without being preachy. The songs depict an "everyman" type of theme but always with a touch of humor.
Tim Nielsen is a seasoned musician who fronts his own band "Brutha Niel and the Real Deal. He has been an opening act for many various artists including, The Beach Boys, 38 Special, Jimmy Buffet, The Little River Band to mention a few.
Tim has independently released two other CDs entitled "Light Years," and "109 East McKey St." The "Light Years" CD is a bit more blues oriented. "109 East McKey St." is a collection of inventive, well written guitar oriented instrumentals.
