Nik Platinum grew up in the streets of New York City in the borough of the BRONX, where Hip Hop originated. He earned his respect by rapping on the corner on the street battling with all other rappers, due to the fact he is white they started calling him "PLATINUM". The word Platinum in NIK's eyes means a rare element. He grew up across the street from the Pelham Parkway Projects. Nik also is in a click called the "Rezawar Dawgz" which opened up for N'Sync,Eve, and Ashanti. The Rezawar Dawgz CD is in the works soon and will be available soon. This is Nik's solo CD, Because many people who heard him were anticipating his solo debut. Nik took the time to finish his solo CD. So he can present it to Yal. Nik grew up in the life of crime, at the age of fourteen he got involved with a gang called "The Albanian Boys" who were a tough gang about one-hundred strong. He was involved in fighting, stealing, etc. He then got invoved in white-collar crime, which he stole credit cards and checks until he got caught but was never convicted. He then started getting involve with the Hip Hop culture and fell in love with it. He picked up break dancing and he started to rap. Until this day he never turned back As he qouted "I eat, sleep and s*it hip hop It's my life". He also became good friends with Actor MARK WAHLBERG which Mark Qouted "Nik Plat is one of my favorite rappers". So be prepared for some great life experiences of an albanian white-boy growing up in the BRONX. You will feel his pain you will feel his voice and you will hear the next big thing to hip hop.....
