Most people think of the resurgence of garage rock taking place in the early days of the 21st century, but Saginaw, Michiganâs Bungee Deth Fest beat everybody to the punch by ten years. Formed in 1992, and drawing on diverse and eclectic tastes in music, BDF created a fuzz-laden style of rock that wasnât exactly the grunge sound that was popular at the time, but still wasnât like anything else being produced at the time. Guitarists Dan Palmer and Tom Towns, drummer Matt Favazza, and original bassist Craig Peters create an exciting sound that foreshadows the future sounds of The White Stripes and other great garage rock bands of the 21st century.
