Eli Hason is the nomad with the noize. Starting his adventures around the world at only 2 months of age, Eli has traveled the earth in search of field recordings and kindred spirits with whom he can share his original blend of ethnic treats and break-beats. Although difficult to classify, Nomadic Noize has rocked dance floors around the world with his funky blends and he continues to excite fans with his latest work on the new release Sound Spy.
With roots in punk, new wave, and industrial music, Nomadic Noize has spent his life addicted to music. While maintaining a position at Invisible Records in Chicago during high school, Hason started Djing clubs and on the radio (WDGC-Chicago; KLCC - Portland; KPSU-Portland; CFUV - Victoria, PRA-Portland) at age 14. The infamous Chicago warehouse rave scene had a tremendous influence on Nomadic Noize, and opened up a world of dancing his ass off.


While studying Maori culture in New Zealand, Nomadic Noize was a resident at Heaven Nightclub in Christchurch. He also had a residency at Tocca a Te in Osaka, Japan for a year. Always at home regardless of the continent, Nomadic Noize set out on a mission to share his new breed of music with people on every inhabited continent while dipping off the beaten path to track down and record samples of cultural importance from remote locations. Sacred and secular music, mantras, prayers, and the sounds of everyday life were captured on mini-disc as Eli spent years in the field tracking down the indigenous samples with only a change of clothes and a bag full of disks. Eli has trekked through India, Laos, Thailand, Japan, and Taiwan for his latest collection of ethnic samples. His field recordings are a crucial part of his nu-break-beat attack and have the power to take partygoers in a club to the far reaches of the earth.
