Julia Doe is the latest Christian music singer to break out onto the faith based music scene. Juliaâs motto which she has carried throughout her life has been âwhere there is a will, there is a wayâ. Julia feels blessed to have the opportunity to share her heart of worship with as many people as possible. This project is a reflection of her spiritual walk with Jesus Christ.
Julia is the third of six children. She was born in Kent, England but at age 3, her parents returned to their home country, Ghana, West Africa after Ghana gained independence from the United Kingdom. Her musical ability was evident very early on and at age 6, she was sent to the renowned John Teye Memorial Maths and Music School, where she was mentored by the Founder, Rev. John Teye, a gifted musician.
Julia continued to engage in music and the arts through school plays, dancing and talent competitions. Her favourite pastime was learning songs by great artistes like Whitney Houston and Anita Baker and she became well known throughout the school for her mimicking abilities.
Juliaâs passion is to see peoplesâ lives changed as hers was so dramatically transformed over 14 years ago. She believes that anointed music is a powerful medium through which God gets through to people and transforms their lives.
