'Have You Got The Time' is part of 'My Collective Series' of three albums 'Have You Got The Time', Heart of Stone' and ' Foxy Lady'. All three albums are about my former girlfriends,dates or ladies i admired.All the songs had meaning when they were concieved.This album is more jazz fusion than the other two in the series.All these songs were concieved in london,england in 83'.Tony Williams' DJ from 'Radio London' was producer on this track and 'Peter Richards' producer for the group 'The Chosen Few' started recording me after he finished with 'The Chosen Few's' project in 83'.There are some great london musicians on this cd.The three cover songs on here are by guitarist 'Earl Klugh',they are 'Living Inside Your Love' which jazz guitarist ' George Benson' recorded back in the late seventies , 'Soft Stuff' and ' I'm Ready For Love' i heard in Peter Richards office in Harlesden/ london and i wanted to record it and we did.This album was recorded at various london studios.I wrote a song on this album called 'I Need You' which was sung by vocalist 'Rose' of 'The Funkmasters' when we recorded it.I'm playing guitar and singing backing vocals with others in the group.I hope that you'll enjoy all three in te series,sincerely & musically,Emmett North Jr.
