'The Atlantic Soul Machine', this is a group whom i toured england,finland,belgium and holland with and recorded this album in 1999. A promoter who use to promote fights and promote acts like 'Rufus Thomas', 'Wilson Pickett', 'Marvin Gaye', Sam & Dave and others got us together to tour Palermo, Sicily to do a show and that's how we started working together. There's songs on this cd by 'James Brown', 'Fred Wesley & The 'JB's', Sam & Dave,Wilson Pickett and others from the past. This is definitely freat old school funk. Most of the names of the songs are familiar such as 'Pass The Peas', '634 5789', 'Funky Goodtime' and 'Shakey Ground' and others.I'm featured on most vocals and guitar except for Chris Staines solo on a few tracks.The photo of the cover taken in london,england at 'The Mean Fiddler'.
