Off Da Hook Productions, a Chattanooga based music production company, is well on its way to becoming nationally known in the music industry. The company, which started in 2000, has progressed over the years with new artists and songs that appeal to both the younger and middle-aged generations.

Founder and CEO of the company, Eric L. Carson says," I started the company because I wanted to put my talents of making beats with songs I could relate to." He also states." I enjoy helping others who come to me wanting to put their lyrics to a nice instrumental beat."

Many of the artists who are working with Off Da' Hook have been compared to artists such as Jill Scott, Mystikal, P Minister, and the late R&B singer Aaliyah.

LouKisha Armstead, president of the company, had this to say regarding the artists. "I knew these artists had a gift the first time I heard them sing and rap." Kisha is also a songwriter for some of the artists. When asked what she writes about in her songs, she had this to say. " I write about what I'm feeling at that time and what I've been through over the years.
