BIO

OLR was born Lappdog in 1998 by vocalist/guitarist Cris Brown and bassist Jerome Hubble. Eventually, Kevin Scott would find a permanent seat behind the drums allowing the band to create the first of the Lappdog recordings. After years of touring and establishing a solid fanbase, the decision for a name change was pertinent to reflect both their present musical maturity and evolving sound. Lappdog became One Less Reason in 2002.

Later that year, the Tennessee based band entered the studio with producer Rick Beato (Shinedown, Endo) and recorded a 4 song demo that gained attention from radio and record labels alike. In 2003 One Less Reason signed with Universal Records and soon hit the air waves with their first single, "Favorite Color," which debuted #3 in the nation for rock radio ads during its first week's release. Due to conflicting interests in late 2004, OLR split from Universal and is on the lookout for a new home.

With the release of their new cd, "Everday Life", the first run of which almost sold out in pre-orders alone, One Less Reason is sure to put a huge dent in the music scene once again with their soulfull, hard edge rock style...it's only a matter of time.
