One vibration is the new Reggae band for the future. Their rich, catchy melodies, rough neck rhythms, and intelligent, conscious lyrics will have you humming hours after the cd stops spinning. Hailing from New York City, they bring the tradition of legendary bands like Skadanks and The Boilers back to the scene.
One Vibration was formed between 2000-2003 in N.Y.C. Producer Alex V wanted to form a new Reggae sound. A sound that combined the flavor and grooves of the old school Reggae we all grew up on, with the hot drums and heavy bass we all throb to in the dancehalls and jeeps of today. Add the blazing riffs of Joe Sansaverino's guitar wizardry and One Vibration's new original style is complete.
In 2001 One Vibration released their first album "Unification and Harmonization", recorded with singer/Studio One artist Judah Eskender-Tafari. That same year, constantly recording new material, Mista Rhee (of The Boilers) joined the band. Their hard work in the studio and the addition of Jamaican DJ Stoogee Gee has led to the release of 2 underground 7" singles and the album "OUR WORLD".

One Vibration is poised to bring the VIBE to the masses.
