Details:
This is the debut release from Baltimore Goth Rockers Orangeseed Parade. Formed in 1989, they regularly played venues in Baltimore, Washington DC, New York, and New Jersey. Orangeseed Parade consisted of Bassist Mike Barton, Vocalist Nat Bradley, Guitarist Fritz T. Fell, and Drummer Shawn Von Ziegler. They frequently appeared on several Rock TV shows and got airplay on numerous college radio stations. They were the opening act for several national acts; such as Hole, Helmet, Cop Shoot Cop, Bad Brains, The Junk Monkeys, and 4 non Blondes. They were known for their dark, gothic sound which was influenced by such acts as Bauhaus, Peter Murphy, David Bowie, and The Cure. The group disbanded in 1992. Fritz T. Fell and Shawn Von Ziegler are currently playing with Twenty Ripped Angel.
Though the band has been defunct since 1992, the CD still has a cult following and many DJ's still play the CD in clubs in the Baltimore area.
