This software fix communicates directly with the printers built in software (NVRAM) to re-write one particular section to fix the high pitched whine or squeel that is apparent when the error occurs.

If you find that when you switch on your C3000 or C4100 printer and send it the first job that the machine jams, or if it jams after it has been left idle for some time, then this firmware update will help you fix the issue. The squeel or whine that accompanies the jam is the tell tale sign.
