Details:
A little over a year ago my trio began recording with Martin Medimorec on bass and vibraphone and Christian Specker on the drums. The
idea was to produce a CD using my own compositions.While we were producing, the idea arose to re-arrange these pieces electronically and to order them according to
style. Our sound engineer and "sound fiddler" Thomas Baumgartner seemed to be the perfect person for
this venture and he became co-composer and an essential member of the "outmars" project.
Throughout the musical and tonal expansion of our recordings music reached a new dimension for me-one that
suggested images.
It was with this idea that we began working with the video artist Patrick Steffen. The "outmars"
