Passenger is a four piece rock band out of Boston.
Typically categorized as indie-pop, a listen to their
latest EP "Late Tonight" and their live set would show
very obvious traces of influences from vintage
Beatles-like sounds, to modern, yet aggressive melodic
British rock.

Fans of bands like Radiohead, Coldplay, Travis, and
the Doves are sure to take a liking to these guys.

The quartet find their origins in the center of
Boston. Background of the foursome include solid
tenureship among top Boston bands; now these four have
combined to form Passenger.

Chris Linnane (vocals), experienced singer-songwriter
and former art student fronts the band, combining
heartfelt, well-thought, lyrics with 'sing songy' type
arrangements. Original members Sanjay Jain (bass and
pianos) and Gautam Chhada (guitar), former bandmates
with another well-known Boston act, bring controlled
chaos, and a driving sound to the melodic pop elements
of Passenger. Jimmy Hiatt (drums) holds the band
together, having joined after a migration from
post-mod, session drumming to a permanent drum seat
with Passenger.

These guys have experience playing some of the best
venues in the Northeast and even overseas. Places
include great Boston locations like the Middle East
upstairs and downstairs, TT the Bears Place, the Milky
Way Lounge, the Paradise, the Great Scott, and others.
Venues in New York and Providence include the Acme
Underground, the C-Note, the Luna Lounge, and others.
